Start Session and End Session
The full KinNotice organization vision includes a configurable Start Session questionnaire to capture attendees, intended goals and planned interventions. Authorized staff would record actual start time separately from the scheduled appointment.
At the end, the intended workflow records the interventions actually performed, observed outcomes, relevant goal measurements, challenges and follow-up. The actual duration should reflect authenticated timestamps, not an assumed scheduled hour.
Connect therapy observations with goal progress
A session may include behavior observations, communication, participation, support approaches and measurable progress. KinNotice aims to associate those records with the correct person while keeping everyday observations separate from formal goal metrics.
For instance, an observation that a participant required fewer prompts provides context; an approved measurement of completed steps may help monitor a defined goal. They should not be treated as interchangeable evidence.
Better review, controlled access
Supervisors may need to review authorized session documentation and identify missing information. Staff should be limited to the recipients and programs assigned to them. Family-facing information requires an explicitly curated and permitted sharing process.
Program-specific fields and permissions are designed to support the different responsibilities of staff and supervisors.
Clinical and payer boundaries
KinNotice is not represented as a replacement for a certified clinical health record, specialized ABA practice-management system, regulated billing platform or required payer documentation. Recorded duration alone does not establish billing eligibility or medical necessity.
Clinical supervisors remain responsible for professional assessment and approved protocols. KinNotice's intended value is easier organization and coordination of appropriately documented information.
